Update: The Wichita Eagle is reporting that the Butler County Sheriff believes the body is that of an Augusta teenager missing since jumping into the river May 6.

A body was pulled from the Walnut River on Saturday by the Winfield Fire Department.

The body was seen in the water at Tunnel Mill Dam and was reported to the fire department.

According to Cowley County Sheriff Dave Falletti, no identification had been made and the cause of death will not be known until an autopsy is done.

No information about where the body was found or the age and gender was available at 3:45 p.m. At that time, the fire department was still at the scene.
