Ark Valley Physical Therapy is partnering with Advanced Physical Therapy, an independently owned outpatient physical therapy clinic. Cindy Minkler, PT, founded and managed Ark Valley Physical Therapy for 20 years. She is excited to join forces with Advanced Physical Therapy, as they are the largest and fastest growing network of outpatient physical therapy clinics in Kansas. The partnership will increase Minkler’s networking abilities and allow for increased staffing to serve the Winfield and Ark City areas.

Each of the clinics will have up to five therapists and will bring in a variety of specialties needed in the area. The company offers several services including dry needling, in which a small filiform needle is inserted into a trigger point in a muscle to reduce trigger points that can cause chronic pain and headaches. The clinic also plans to add fall prevention, vertigo treatment, pediatrics and pelvic floor therapy. Advanced Physical Therapy also treats sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents and on the job injuries.

This transition will expand healthcare and provide services that have not been available in Winfield or Arkansas City. Employment applications for physical therapists, physical therapists assistants and administrative staff are welcome.
