Bob and Deb Daniels, owners of Sunflower Shrimp in Oxford, have announced their company is participating in the 2018 Morning Harvest Farm CSA — Community Supported Agriculture.
A CSA is an opportunity to buy shares of locally grown products, delivered in a once-a-week box/share, according to a press release.
Sunflower Shrimp’s participation in Morning Harvest CSA is “keeping with our mission to provide safe, locally grown, environmentally-friendly saltwater shrimp to consumers who believe in the power of quality food,” the release said.
Morning Harvest CSA not only includes produce but also provides locally grown meats, breads, jams and other locally produced goods.
Sunflower Shrimp will be included in the rotational meat products once every four weeks. Their goal is for Morning Harvest CSA members to be able to pre-order supplemental pounds of Sunflower Shrimp to be added to their weekly shares any week during the CSA.
