Reflecting growth in the organization’s services, Mosaic in Winfield has now become Mosaic in South Central Kansas. The change was effective July 1, 2019. Local Mosaic executive director Jenny Foster-Farquhar said the organization serves people in Cowley and Sumner counties and plans to expand its reach in these areas. The local office will remain in Winfield.

“The Winfield community has been supportive of Mosaic and our mission for years,” Foster-Farquhar said. “That support has helped us grow and serve people outside of the Winfield community, and we felt our name should reflect our larger mission.

“We recognize that serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is not something we do on our own. To be successful, we need to be in partnership with community organizations and individuals who share our values. We’re grateful for that ongoing partnership.”
