Cowley County sheriff Dave Falletti confirmed that all three burglary suspects were located and arrested on Wednesday afternoon with the help of Cowley Trackers and the K-9 unit.

Cowley County sheriff’s deputies were called to a burglary in progress around noon on Wednesday at a residence in 13000 block of 71st Road. Three suspects fled the scene forcing law enforcement to start a search and set up a perimeter, northwest of Winfield.

Two white males and one white female were located after a few hours, arrested and booked into the Cowley County Jail.

Kansas Highway Patrol ground and air, Winfield police, Cowley Trackers, the K-9 unit and local residents all assisted in the search.

More information will be released once the report is completed, Falletti said.
