An Arkansas City woman is in jail following a vehicle check in the county, according to a sheriff’s report.
A Cowley County Sheriff’s deputy responded at 7:46 p.m. Monday to the 25000 block of U.S. 166 Highway to check on a vehicle.
Jamie Gaskill, 33, was found in the vehicle and arrested on five Ark City Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear and taken to the county Jail.
She remains there under a $21,025 bond amount.
Her pending charges are three counts of felony theft of property or services greater than $1,000 but less than $25,000, two felony counts of possession of stolen property and three counts of failure to appear in court.
A person’s guilt or innocence is to be determined by a court of law.
