This special December meet-up features a holiday social that will include homemade Christmas cookies, savory options, coffee and other beverages.

The 2020 Kansas Legislative Session opens on Jan. 13, so a brief tutorial on keeping up weekly with “what’s going on in our Kansas Legislature” will be on the agenda.

There are options available with Davis Hammet’s Loud Light videos and several other blogs that keep everyone up to date on “who’s on first and what’s on second” regarding legislative activity.

“I’m eager to share how easy it is to keep up to date on Kansas legislative activity. The premier website is loudlight.org, featuring weekly videos covering the legislative session and research-based big issue explainer videos that have reached over a quarter million Kansans,” said Pam Moreno, W4K-CC leader.

Women for Kansas-Cowley County holds regular meetings on the second Saturday of each month. All are welcome.

For more information, call Pam Morenoat (620) 262-2326 or email pam.moreno@sbcglobal.net.
