The South Kansas Symphony will present its annual Halloween Pops concert at 3 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Richardson Performing Arts Center at Southwestern College. Adult tickets are available; all children younger than 18 are free for this concert, as well as all Southwestern College faculty, staff and students.

This year’s concert, sponsored by Phil and Mary Jarvis, is titled “Once Upon a Dream,” and will feature music from many princess movies, including “Moana,” “Frozen,” “Tangled,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Snow White,” and “Anastasia.” Princess Pros Entertainment of Wichita will be on hand before and after the performance, allowing children the opportunity to meet and take pictures with princesses.  Audience members of all ages are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and door prizes will be given away.

Season tickets for the South Kansas Symphony and Southwestern College Youth Symphony are available now. By purchasing season tickets, guests may attend all eight concerts (excluding the Chamber Gala) at a reduced price and have reserved seating.

For more information or to purchase season or individual concert tickets, call the performing arts office at (620) 229-6272. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
