The Arkansas City Music and Dramatics Club will begin its 2019-20 year with a salad luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at First United Methodist Church, 2448 Edgemont.

The “Life Story of Nila Mack Makes the Heart Sing” is the theme of the program planned by Jan Miller. Mack, a native of Arkansas City, was the originator of the radio program, “Let’s Pretend” which was a favorite of children many years ago.

Music in Poetry will be given by Jan Bartel.

Yearbooks will be given out and plans will be made for special activities for the year.

Greeters are Clemma Stone and Nancy Waggoner. Hostesses are Nancy Erickson, Lois Austin and Sherry Baxter.

Guests and new members are welcome. Contact any Music Club member for more information.
