The Winfield High School Graduating Class of 1957 held its 62nd year reunion on Oct. 19. Thirty-seven class members and spouses met at 10:30 a.m. at the Baden Square Senior Center. The group enjoyed homemade pastries made by the class officers and visiting.
At noon Hilma Floyd Webber gave the invocation before the smothered chicken and brisket dinner was served. The table center pieces were floral place mats with royal blue flower pots filled with blue and white silk flowers. The classmates and spouses sat at tables designated for the month of their birthday.
President Bruce Wells welcomed all and called the business meeting to order. Wilma Floyd Anglemyer presented the memorial service for the nine deceased class members since our last reunion.
