The selection committee for the William A. and Gladys Krusor Scholarship has announced that the award for the 2020-21 school year has been made. This year the recipient of the scholarship is Mikeal Segree. Segree is from Ark City and will attend Cowley County Community College this fall.

The Krusor scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and was established in memory of William A. and Gladys Krusor who felt education was an asset to the individual receiving it and to the country as well. They helped many people complete their college education. Their family and friends honor their memory by carrying on their tradition of offering financial aid to students.

This is the 24th year the scholarship has been awarded.
