• Noon-3 p.m. — Kids Pumpkin Painting, Gottlob Lawn and Landscape Nursery and Garden Center, 5001 E. Ninth Ave. Fees apply. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• 4-7 p.m. — 2019 Cowley County Humane Society Petpalooza, at the shelter, 7648 222nd Road, south of Winfield. Free admission.

• 5-7 p.m. — Winfield Community Night Out, Island Park. Hosted by the Winfield Police Department. Free hot dogs, games, prizes and more.

• 7 p.m. — Marquee Performing Arts Center Kansas Short Film Showcase, Messenger Recital Hall, Southwestern College campus. Free admission. Seven short films will be shown. Some films contain adult content and language.
