• Warrant, 1500 block of Loomis Street. George Fletcher, of Winfield, was arrested.

• Burglary, 2000 block of West Fifh Avenue. Glen Bannon, of Winfield, was the victim.

• DUI, transporting an open container, 1100 block of Bliss Street. Jane Kaufman, of Winfield, was arrested.

• Warrant, 2400 block of East 12th Avenue. Felipe Cabrales Jr., of Arkansas City, was arrested.

Saturday, March 10

• Non-injury accident, 1700 block of Mound Street. Javin Foth, of Halstead, was involved when he struck an unattended and legally parked vehicle. 

• Theft, 600 block of Main Street. Virginia Engle, of Newkirk, Okla., was the victim.

Sunday, March 11

• Interference with law enforcement, making a false report, 400 block of West 8th Avenue. Joel Tovar, of Winfield, was arrested.

• Criminal damage to property, 2200 block of Broadway Street. The City of Winfield was the victim.

• 4:16 p.m. — 1200 block of Menor Street, emergency medical incident.

• 6:04 p.m. — 600 block of North C Street, dispatched and canceled en route/fire incident. 

• 7:01 p.m. — 200 block of North Clark, emergency medical incident.

Friday, March 9

• Disturbance, in Atlanta. When deputies arrived, the individuals were in Butler County with their officers.

• Lost tag report, 14000 block of 191st Road. Lost between Feb. 18 and March 9, 2018.

• Cow in road, 102nd Road and U.S. Highway 160. The owner was notified and cow put up.

• Animal complaint, 6000 block of 312th Road.

• Report of female driving while suspended, 2000 block of Main St. The vehicle was already parked when it was located.

• Road rage incident, 27000 block of U.S. Highway 77.

• Cow out, 14000 block of 82nd Road. The cow was not located.

• 911 call, 6000 block of Tower Road. Kids were heard in the background. Several houses were checked, but all reported they had not made the call.

• Car/deer accident, 15000 block of U.S. Highway 160. Teresa Jones was driving a black 2005 Chevy SUV traveling east when she struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

• Roofing scam, 29000 block of Eastridge. Report of two men trying to scam caller for work done on a roof. The men were driving a black Chevy truck. They used a few tubes of caulking on the roof then wanted to be paid a large amount of money. They were not paid and left the area.

• Juvenile drinking party, 11000 block of 1st Road. Sumner County deputies located them on the Cowley County side, and the crowd drove off before Cowley County deputies arrived.

• Motorist assist, 30000 block of U.S. Highway 77. Driver was just waiting on a friend.

• Stolen vehicle report, 28000 block of 121st Road. It was determined to have been driven by a friend of one of the owners who had given permission. The other owner was concerned with the borrower’s driving it and legal issues with the insurance company.

• Vehicle check, 5000 block of U.S. Highway 166.

Saturday, March 10

•Vehicle check on railroad property at Kansas Highway 15 and U.S. Highway 77. Everything was found to be OK.

• Cattle out, 6000 block of 151st Road. Cattle were put away.

• Cattle in roadway, 21000 block of 151st Road. Cattle were put away.

• Reckless driver, 16000 block of 111th Road. The vehicle was no longer in the area.

• Animal complaint, 5000 block of 286th Road.

• Reckless driver, northbound on 21st Road from U.S. Highway 160. The vehicle was no longer in the area when deputies arrived.

• Criminal damage to property report, 29000 block of 91st Road.

• Complaint of someone shooting in the area, 8000 block of 312th Road.

• Cattle out, 15000 block of 212th Road.

• Possible drunk driver, 1000 block of Kansas Highway 15. It was reported that a silver Dodge Ram was weaving in and out of traffic. The vehicle was not located.

• Motorist assist, 8000 block of U.S. Highway 166. Vehicle had broken down, and they were working on removing it.

• Property dispute, 30000 block of Shady Oak Drive.

• Dead deer in roadway, 26000 block of 85th Road. The deer was removed.

• Possible drunk driver, 1000 block of Kansas Highway 15. A white Ford F250 was not maintaining his lane. Vehicle arrived at his home and was found parked before a deputy was able to locate it.

• Suspicious juveniles dressed in all black, Rock area. The juveniles were located and were just out enjoying the evening with friends.

• Deputies assisted Winfield police in located a missing person, 600 block of Thistle Road. The individual returned home several hours later.

• Child sitting outside alone, 33000 block of 61st Road. Deputy found the child was with his mother on the porch and was fine.

• Cattle out, 28000 block of 251st Road. No cattle were located.

Sunday, March 11

• Deputy was dispatched to the Arkansas City police station to talk to a subject in the lobby.

• Injured deer, 15000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

• Reckless driver complaint, 14000 block of 21st Road.

• Physical disturbance, 33000 block of 61st Road. Parties had separated prior to deputy’s arrival. Female refused transport by EMS. Report was filed.

• Battery report, Winfield police station. Battery was on a juvenile that occurred in the county. A report was generated.
