• Assisted Winfield Police with locating a subject, 20000 block of U.S. 77.

• Vehicle check, U.S. 77 and 71st Road.

• Vehicle check, 20000 block of U.S. 77.

• Assisted Arkansas City Police with arresting a wanted subject, 100 block of Virginia Ave.

• Deputy was contacted regarding questions about a protection from abuse order.

• Disable vehicle in roadway, 7000 block of U.S. 160.

• Reckless driver complaint, 6000 block of U.S. 160.

• Disturbance, 14000 block of 231st Road.

• Theft report, 72nd Road and 151st Road.

• Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.

• Suspicious vehicle, 61st Road and 322nd Road.

• Assisted Arkansas City Police, 1300 bock of West Kansas Avenue.

• One-vehicle injury accident, 3000 block of 252nd Road.

• One vehicle non-injury accident, 72nd Road and 21st Road.

• Non-injury accident, 8000 block of 21st Road. Koby Mackey overcorrected after he ran off the road. No injuries were reported. Mackey was given a ride home and his vehicle was towed by B&L.

• Motorist assist, 6000 block of U.S. 160. Homeowner gave the driver permission to move the vehicle onto his property.

• Possible stolen vehicle report, in Udall. Was a civil issue between two parties.

• Reckless driver, driving a silver four-door Jeep southbound in the 2000 block of K-15. The vehicle was not located.

• Physical disturbance, in Udall. Ryan Slate was arrested on scene and transported to Cowley County Jail for domestic battery.

• Non-injury rollover accident, 6000 block of 312th Road. Brett Pickle was arrested for DUI, second offense, and transported to Cowley County Jail. The vehicle was towed by Bruton’s.

• Traffic stop, 1600 block of East Ninth Avenue. Shellie Shuttles was arrested for DUI and transported to Cowley County Jil. The vehicle was towed by B&L.


Saturday, Aug. 10

• Verbal disturbance, 6000 Fitzgerald Loop, in IXL.

• Verbal disturbance, in Udall. Contact was made between two parties, and property was exchanged.

• Pigs out, 112th Road and 151st Road.

• Deputy was contacted regarding a civil issue.

• Animal welfare check, 7000 block of 252nd Road.

• Suspicious vehicle, 1000 block of K-15.

• Robbery victim, Arkansas City Police Department. Victim left prior to deputy’s arriving.

• Suspicious vehicle, 1800 block of Pinecrest Avenue.

• Reckless driver, U.S. 160 and 21st Road. The vehicle was located, and the driver was advised of the rules of the road.

• Disturbance, 6000 Fitzgerald Loop, in IXL. Regarding harassment. Neighbors at lot 109 were trespassed from lot 107.

• Cows out, 65th Road and 244th Road. Neighbors were able to get the cows back into a field.

• Assisted Winfield Police, 200 block of East Fifth Avenue. A female subject was arrested in connection.


Sunday, Aug. 11

• Reckless driver, U.S. 77 and the bypass. The area was checked and the vehicle was not located.

• Pigs out, 112th Road and 151st Road.

• Criminal damage to property, 9000 block of Fitzgerald Loop, in IXL.

• Horse out, 61st Road and Sunset Drive.

• Welfare check, 28000 block of 141st Road.

• Road rage incident, 11000 block of U.S. 77. One driver was later arrested by Winfield Police for unrelated drug charges.

• Road rage incident, 19000 block of U.S. 77.

• Pigs in roadway, 151st Road and 112th Road. The area was checked and no animals were located.

• Assisted Winfield Police at Winfield City Lake for possible gunshots. Contact was made with reporting partying and the area was checked. No disturbance was found.
