• Hit and run accident, 1400 block of East 1st Avenue. Amy Acridge, of Winfield, was the victim.

• Criminal damage to property, 1300 block of Menor Street. Mingkouy Lo, of Winfield, was the victim.

• Theft, 2200 block of Pike Road. Walmart was the victim.


Saturday, Sept. 21

• Warrant, 1100 block of Davis Street. Kenneth Elston, of Winfield, was arrested. 

• Criminal use of a firearm, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, 200 block of Main Street. Hunter Mitchell, of Oxford, was arrested.

• Motorist check, 25000 block of U.S. 77. Tire changed.

• Car/deer accident, 4000 block of U.S. 160.

• Reckless driver complaint, 4100 block of U.S. 160. Contact made with the driver.

• Disturbance, 32000 block of 61st Road.

• Reckless driver complaint, 21st Road and 72nd Road.

• Deputy took a walk-in report at the sheriff’s office.

• Medical call assist, southern portion of the county.

• Deputy was contacted regarding lost property.

• Civil issue, southern portion of the county

• Horses in roadway, 122nd Road and U.S. 160. None were located.

• Vehicle check, 23000 block of U.S. 77. Driver did not need assistance.

• Car/deer accident, 12000 block of 296th Road. No injuries reported.

• Motorist check, parked in front of the courthouse. Complaint of medical issue. Ambulance was called to check on driver.

• Animal check in roadway, 15000 block of U.S. 77.


Sunday, Sept. 22

• Cows out, 131st Road and 132nd Road.

• Horses out, 12000 block of 292nd Road.

• Warrant, 6000 block of Beverly Drive. Gregory Grimmett was arrested.

• Pedestrian throwing rocks at vehicles, 20000 block of 71st Road.

• Deputy took a walk-in report at the sheriff’s Office.

• Suspicious vehicle, 5000 block of 302nd Road.

• One vehicle non-injury accident, 21st Road and U.S. 160.

• Welfare check on a pedestrian, 141st Road and U.S. 160.


Monday, Sept. 23

• Disturbance, 33000 block of Tower Road. Deputy was dispatched twice.
