Kincaid to lead Cowley College’s Alumni Relations aka Golden Tigers program

Looking for someone with a good personality and diverse background to lead Cowley College’s Alumni Relations/Golden Tigers’ program, the college found just the person in Autumn Kincaid.

Kincaid attended Blackwell (OK) High School where she graduated in 2011. After that she attended Northern Oklahoma College where she studied Music Theatre before transferring to the University of Central Oklahoma where she studied Professional Media/Mass Communications.

She then began working for Team Radio Marketing Group in Ponca City, OK, where she served as an account representative. At the radio station, she also recorded commercials and had a mid-day show on 100.7 KPNC from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Only five months ago, Kincaid began working at Cowley College as an admissions representative.

Cowley College’s Dr. Kori Gregg is excited to have Kincaid join the team in institutional advancement.

“Her background in communications and radio will provide the perfect skillset to take the Cowley College Alumni Association and our Golden Tiger program to the next level,” Dr. Gregg said. “Her engaging personality and ability to relate to individuals of all ages will allow her to quickly make a difference with our programs.”

Kincaid has enjoyed the experience of working with students and is eager for the opportunity to work with alumni and individuals in the Golden Tigers program.

“My time in admissions has set me up for success because it put me in a position to learn all aspects of the college I may have not known prior,” Kincaid said. “I have built a deep connection in wanting to see Cowley students truly succeed as students and far beyond that wherever life may take them.”

Kincaid said the most appealing aspect of the Alumni Relations/Golden Tigers position is knowing she would aid in building and maintaining relationships with Cowley Students now and when they become Alumni.

“The most rewarding part will be seeing our students go from outstanding students to successful adults and that they will forever be a part of the Cowley family,” Kincaid said. “As for Golden Tigers, the simple fact is I love people and I love seeing people smile. That is what Golden Tigers is all about, fun activities and classes that bring people joy. There is not much better than that. My main goal is to encourage as many students to believe in the foundation that built them. You are a student for a short time and an alumnus Forever. I want our alumni to be proud of where they came from and remember they will always be a Cowley Tiger.”
