The new Cowley College Education Center will provide students the opportunity to have a hands-on face-to-face learning experience.

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration for the facility from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 8 at the corner of Second Street and Chestnut Avenue in Arkansas City.

Light hors d oeuvres will be served.

“Come help us celebrate this new adventure and enjoy all that this building has to offer,” Cowley director of early childhood education Janet Davidson said.
