Community match

Little Sister Jasmine, right, and Big Sister Briana Sherman converted their school-based match to community-based so they could see each other outside school. Their first outing was going to the park to paint. They may also bake and cook together. Bib Brothers Big Sisters is currently enrolling Little Sisters in Winfield. They have 86 youth in Cowley County who have requested a mentor who can spend anywhere from 30 minutes a week in a school-based match to two to four hours at least twice a month in a community-based match. For more information, visit or their Facebook page, Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters serving Cowley County, or call the office at (620) 221-7766.
