Grant approved

Lowell Elementary School social worker Karen Toon obtained a grant that helped to purchase desk peddlers for each classroom. Kinesthetic learners — students who learn while they are physically active — learn best in classroom environments where they can move, build, measure, jump, sing and experiment. Lowell is committed to helping students to be the best they can be and learn in the very best environment for them. Toon is pictured demonstrating the desk peddler. Lowell students and staff are excited that she will soon be interviewed by an area TV station.
