Students celebrate 100 days

The Cowley College Housing department went last Monday to IXL Elementary in Arkansas City to help the kindergarten classes to celebrate 100 days of school. The housing staff was paired with students and read together. As a class they were trying to read 100 books in one hour. Both classes accomplished their goal. Cowley housing then shared with each class how proud of them they were for learning for 100 days of school. Cowley housing, which consisted of 11 staff members, shared with each class a Cowley Tiger pillowcase. Housing staff pictured in the back row are, from left, Tanner Brock, Tanner Hopkins, Dachye’ Stubbs, Tori Beltz, Kendall Ray, Livia Souza Silva, Lucas De Freitas, Matt Crump, Elluan Martins Gomes, Lynlea Bartlett and Ian Alumbaugh.
