The Grenola Christian Church’s 28th annual men’s clinic is Aug. 23. The theme for this year’s meeting is “Walking with God.” Supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the service will start at 7:30 p.m.

Ben Butterfield will speak to the men Friday evening. Butterfield grew up in a small town in rural Wisconsin and graduated from York College in Nebraska. Butterfield has followed the Lord through various tasks from teaching, to farming, to cleaning, to building. Butterfield and his wife, Katrina, currently serve with the Grenola Christian Church.

Grenola Church’s 52nd annual women’s clinic is Aug. 24. The theme is “The Joy of the Lord is My Strength.” Registration begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, and the first session starts at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., followed by the afternoon session at 1 p.m.

The speaker is Rhonda Hayward. Hayward, her husband, Steve, and their two children lived in Papua, New Guinea, from 1984 to 2011 while working with Pioneer Bible Translators. Rhonda and Steve currently serve as dorm parents at Ozark Christian College. Rhonda is passionate about sharing her ongoing journey for freedom from perfectionism and learning to embrace the truth that she is successful simply by being the beloved of Jesus.

All area men and women are invited to attend.
