Central Baptist Church, 904 Wheat Road, in Winfield, is host to evangelist Charlie Keim, keynote speaker for revival services at the 10:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. worship services beginning Sunday. Services will continue at 7 p.m. daily Monday through Wednesday.

Music will be under the leadership of Jerrod Zanderslice, of Okemah, Okla., with his wife and three children. Jerrod has several albums available and plans to release a new one at Central. He has traveled and worked with Charlie Keim in many revivals and mission trips. Jerrod’s style of music is Christian Praise and Southern Gospel.

Charlie Keim, who now resides in Tahlequah, Okla., was licensed to preach in 1974 and ordained in 1976. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, and a MDIV from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.

He shared that God called him into full time evangelism in 2006 after serving as pastor of Oklahoma Southern Baptist churches for 32 years. As a full time evangelist, he and his wife, Glenda, have traveled to Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Mexico to preach the Gospel. He is no stranger to this area, as he has held revival services in Augusta and Arkansas City, as well as at Central in previous years.

Keim illustrates his messages with chalk drawings, using black light to reveal a hidden meaning or message and bringing God’s word to life through his “Chalk Talks.”

Pastor Blake Orr and the Central Baptist Church family invite the community to join them for this time of renewal and study from God’s Word. For more information, call the church office, (620) 221-2980. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
