Light run

Around 300 people braved the cold weather Sunday night for the first Mile of Lights Open Run at Island Park. The event was hosted by the Winfield Recreation Commission, Healthways of William Newton Hospital and the Isle of Lights board. Participants had 30 minutes to run or walk through the Isle of Lights. William Newton Hospital Auxiliary provided cookies and treats served by Winfield High School Student Council members.
