Spread apart

Victoria Corado waits for her turn to pay her motor vehicle registration Wednesday afternoon in the Cowley County Courthouse South Annex. The chairs in the lobby are spread out six feet away from each other in every direction to maintain social distancing during the coronavirus threat. The telephone on the table behind Corado’s right shoulder connects clients with the offices on the second floor and basement of the annex.  County employees go from the offices to the lobby to speak with people needing help from the Appraiser, CDDO or Emergency Management.
