Barn junkin'

Kris Hotchkin checks his cell phone while Kenny Wells, center, of Arkansas City looks at Hotchkin’s vintage items for sale Friday at the ‘Gone Junkin at the Barn’ at the East Chestnut Venue in Parkerfield. ‘I call if cool stuff. I love it. Some people see scrap. I see beauty,’ Hotchkin said. ‘Gone Junkin at the Barn’ was Friday thru Sunday, and included indoor and outdoor vendors of barn treasures, both original and repurposed salvage along with a variety food trucks. Later Friday night Backrhodes performed in concert.
