Ann E. (Brewer) Gafford, 73, formerly of Salina and Arkansas City, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, in Bedford, N.H.
She wished to be cremated. A celebration of life ceremony is being planned for Salina in the spring.

Ann was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Wichita to Robert and Doris (Miller) Brewer. A graduate of Arkansas City High School and Pittsburg State University, she married Wendell P. Gafford in August 1964. A teacher, homemaker and medical billing office manager, Ann was active in the Salina community for 40 years before moving away in 2013.
Her parents and her husband of 47 years preceded her in death.
She is survived by son, Philip and wife, Rebecca Gafford and their children, Ava, Jackson and Scott, all of Lima, Ohio; son, Stephan and wife, Laura Leslie Gafford and their children, Acadia, August and Arden, all of Raymond, N.H.; brother, Bill Brewer, of Rowlett, Texas; and sisters, Elaine Vashey, of Topeka, and Nancy Hillyer, of Aurora, Colo.
