Services for Philip Ed  “Joe” Phillips were 10:30 a.m. June 26, 2019, at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel in Arkansas City.

Officiating were Brother James "Babe" Standerfer, Pastor Paul Kirk, Sr., and Robert L. Ferris. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, north of Arkansas City.

Honorary bearers were Jerry Palmer, Dave Daulton, Sr., Dave Palmer, Kenny Gilmore, Charlie Dow, Don McBride, Rich Byers, Bud Scott, Bob Anstine, Larry Gurney and Scott Widener. 

Casket bearers were Tyson Tanner, Lakin Jarod Harley and Jake Pete Taryn.

Special music selections were "Amazing Grace" by Elvis Presley, "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" by The Carter Family and Johnny Cash, and "Centerfield" by John Fogerty

Video music selections were "Grandpa" by The Judds, "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe, and "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban.

Graveside music was "Daddy's Hands" by Holly Dunn.
