Ronald L. Miller, 66, of Winfield, passed away Tuesday evening, June 4, 2019.
Visitation with family is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
In accordance with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Born April 5, 1953, in Winfield, Ron was a son of Lyle and Lois (Thomas) Miller. He was raised and educated in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1971. He then attended Cowley County Community College, where he received his welding certification. Following school, he joined his father on the family farm in the Tisdale area east of Winfield. He also worked for Duane Chrisler.
Ron married Myrtie Moore in 1973 at the Free Methodist Church in Winfield. To this union three children were born. The couple later divorced, but remained friends. Ron spent most of his life farming and driving truck. He enjoyed going to the sand dunes at Waynoka, Okla. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Nadyne Miller.
His family includes his sons, Justin Miller, of Winfield, Jon Miller, of Winfield, and Joseph Miller, of Dexter; his grandchildren, Braxton Miller, of Dexter, Tristan Kohl, of Arizona, and Aubrey Harden, of Arizona; his brother, Gerald Miller, of Winfield; and his sister, Beverly Neal and husband, Jim, of Winfield.
