M. Lucille Henry, 86, of Winfield, left this earth on Sunday, June 14, 2020, in Wichita. Her family reunion in heaven is joyous.
Graveside services were June 18 at Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City.
Pall bearers were Walter Pinkston Jr., Thomas Pinkston, Ryan, Ronnie Fields and Tristan Pinkston.
President Pieper of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiated.
Baker Funeral Home of Wichita was in charge of arrangements.
Lucille was born Oct. 22, 1933, to Patrick Henry Sr., and Mildred (Judd) Henry, in Springfield, Mo. Lucille`s father is the longtime owner and maker of Henry’s Candy in Dexter. Lucille's nieces, Tammie and Robyn Evinger, continue to run the family’s longtime business.
Lucille married Walter N. Pinkston Sr. They traveled across the world during Walter’s military career. They had four children: Patricia, Walter Jr., Thomas and Cynthia. Lucille and Walter later divorced.
Those who preceded her in death were her parents; brother, Patrick Henry Jr.; sister, Rebecca Henry; daughter, Patricia Pinkston; spouse, Oliver Sultz; and sister, Evelyn Pudden.
Survivors include sons, Walter Jr. (Sharon), and Thomas (Mary); daughter, Cynthia Fields (Ronnie); grandchildren, Derek, Tristan and Devon Pinkston, Michael, Vanessa, Adam Pinkston, Sondra and Ryan, Stetson and Lakin Rainwater, and Clint and Rachel Ratley; and multiple great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
