Jennifer Lea Mulkey, 62, of Arkansas City, died Friday, July 5, 2019, at her residence.
The Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, also at the church. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery of Arkansas City. Father Samuel Brand will officiate.

Jennifer was born Sept. 15, 1956, in Arkansas City, to A.E. and Leanitta (Stafford) Whitehead. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Arkansas City High School in 1974. She later graduated from Cowley College and attended Wichita State University. Jennifer married Thomas Mulkey in 1984 in Arkansas City. She worked in the accounting office at Koch Industries in Wichita, but believed her best work was as a wife and mother. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Torchbearer Zeta Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include her children, Emily and husband, Patrick Townsend, of Sinclair, Wyo., Josh Monroe and wife, Ashley, of Parkerfield; a brother, Tracy Whitehead, of Arkansas City; and eight grandchildren.
