Josephine M. “Jo” Glasgow, 81, of Rainbow Bend, passed away Tuesday evening, May 12, 2020, at her home.
Graveside funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16 at Tannehill Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life will follow at the Glasgow farm.

Born Oct. 28, 1938, in Ellwood City, Pa., she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Louise (Cancelliere) Taylor. She was raised and received her education in Ellwood City, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1956. Jo worked for the Navy Department in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., she met Kenneth Hart Glasgow and the couple was married three months later on April 12, 1958.
Kenny and Jo moved to Rainbow Bend in October 1958, where Jo was a homemaker for 16 years. She then went to work for Cessna Aircraft Company for eight years.
Jo enjoyed going to the casino and playing the penny machines, bowling and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her family and playing games. She was the Farkle queen. She was the matriarch of Glasgow’s Pickin’ Parlor. Kenny was a member of the Les Gilliam Band, and the couple traveled many years to perform at Silver Dollar City. They also traveled many years to various bluegrass festivals with the Campbells.
Her family includes her husband of 62 years and one month, Kenneth Glasgow, of Rainbow Bend; her daughters, Kathryn Glasgow and wife, Judy Regehr, of Rainbow Bend, Susan Morton and husband, Don, of Udall, and Theresa DeMint, of Rainbow Bend; her sister, Connie Castellani, of Ellwood City, Pa.; her brothers, Tony Giorgi and wife, Cheryl, of Ellwood City, Pa., and Jim Giorgi, of Ellwood City, Pa.; her grandchildren, Amanda Selenke, Sarah Selenke, Christopher (Tasha) Selenke, Scott DeMint, and Melissa (Steven) Asper; her great-grandchildren, Issac (Kayla) Selenke, Aliyah (Mark) Clifford, Ayden Clark, Kira Selenke, Kali Selenke, Kenzi Selenke, Sebastian Gregory, Ava Gregory, Teagan Asper, and Madelyn Asper; her great-great-grandson, Matthew Moody, and great-great-grandson on the way; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
