Jack L. Holiday, 75, of Geuda Springs, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at Diversicare of Haysville.

Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Geuda Springs Cemetery. Pastor Gary Unger will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences can be made at www.rindt-erdman.com.

Jack was born Aug. 15, 1943, to Carl A. and Bertie G. (Wilson) Holiday, in Parsons. Growing up, he attended schools in Geuda Springs. After high school, Jack joined the U.S. Navy. He served his country proudly until his honorable discharge in 1964.

After his service, he started, owned and operated Happy Holiday Heating and Air in Oakley, Calif. Jack returned to Geuda Springs in his retirement.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Wilma Neises and Linda Carver.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Holiday, of Sacramento, Calif.; his daughter, Debi Paslay and husband, Don, of Philo, Calif.; his son, Carl Holiday and husband, Reginald Caldwell, of Sacramento, Calif.; his son, Westley Holiday and wife, Melissa of Oakley, Calif.; his three grandchildren, Meagan, Westley Jr., and Corey; and his great-grandchild, Mary Jean. Jack's extended family survivors include brother-in-law, John Neises, of Gueda Springs; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and Pat Shelton and wife, Connie, of Geuda Springs.
