Eudora Nida, 88, of Winfield, passed away Friday morning, May 31, 2019, at William Newton Hospital.
Memorial services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Born Aug. 28, 1930, in Wichita, Eudora was the daughter of Charles Thomas and Veda Cathleen (Bostick) Graham. She was raised and educated in Wichita and Pleasanton. She graduated from Wichita North High School in 1948.
She and Dr. Milton T. Nida married on Feb. 14, 1952, in Arkansas. They made their first home in Wichita, where Eudora began working for the Social Security Administration. The family moved to Winfield in 1962, where Milton began his chiropractic practice and Eudora was a homemaker, raising their children. She returned to work in 1975 for the Social Security Administration, where she remained for more than 20 years before retiring. Dr. Nida preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1995.
Eudora was a member of the First Christian Church in Winfield. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with friends, and especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eudora was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Graham, an infant brother, Marvin Graham, and a sister, Shirley Thornburg.
Her family includes her son, Kenneth Nida and wife, Linda, of Webb City, Mo.; her daughter, Cathleen McKimson, of Winfield; her grandchildren, Christie Samples and husband, Arlen, of Winfield, Roger McKimson and wife, Stacy, of Arkansas City, Christy McKimson, of Wichita, and Robert McKimson and wife, Amanda, of Winfield; and her great-grandchildren, Marsha and Elizabeth.
