Celebration of life services for Kenneth G. Day were held Saturday, June 20, 2020, in the Colonial Chapel at Miles Funeral Service. Pastor Lyman Bowling officiated. Private inurnment ceremonies and committal honors will be held at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Honorary pallbearers were Pat Biddle, Jack Blatchford, Art Carrillo, Jim Davis, Merrill Gordon and Buzz Houston.
Special music selections were “Morning Has Broken” by Cat Stevens, “We’re Gonna Hold On” by George Jones and Tammy Wynette, and “Well Done” by Afters.
A memorial has been established in K.G.’s name for the Cowley County Humane Society in honor of his dog, Sprokit.
