Cheryl Lynn Blenz, 63, of Arkansas City, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2019, at her home.

Cheryl was born on Feb. 7, 1956, in Chincoteague, Va., the daughter of Gale Clifford and Marilea (Schmidt) Faulkner. She graduated from Arkansas City High School in 1974. After high school, she married the love of her life, Frank Blenz, on Aug. 12, 1979. The couple were married for 40 years and had two sons, Richard and Curtis. Cheryl enjoyed sewing and made many costumes for the Arkalalah parade through the years. After her husband retired from farming, the couple enjoyed summers spent camping and fishing in Colorado. Cheryl also loved to go to the casino. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steve Faulkner.
Her family includes her husband, Frank, of the home; her sons, Richard Blenzk, of Fayetteville, Ga., and Curtis Blenz (Annabel), of Omaha, Neb.; her brother, David Faulkner, of Nickerson; her two grandsons, Hunter and Weston; and several nieces, Whitney Reid, Jamie Muesenfechter and Michele Faulkner.
