Beverly Jean Newton-Carnes, 79, of Arkansas City, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at the Lake Point Nursing Home of Augusta.
Graveside services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, in Parker Cemetery.
Friends can greet the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory.

Beverly was born Dec. 20, 1939, to Eyer G. and Gladys M. (Wahlemaier) Bush, in Arkansas City. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Arkansas City High School in 1958. After high school she attended and graduated from Cowley College with her real estate license.
She married Terry Lee Newton on Nov. 2, 1962, in Miami, Okla. The couple made their home in Arkansas City. He preceded her in death in 2000. She later married Cliff Carnes. He also preceded her in death.
Beverly worked as a real estate agent for Dorothy Rush Reality for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Soroptimist Club and a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands, Terry Newton and Cliff Carnes.
Survivors include her two sons, Gregory Lee Newton and wife, Marcia, of Augusta, and Jason Matthew Newton and wife, Soledad, of Roanoke, Texas; grandchildren, Tristan, Courtney, Hayden, and Kyra Newton; great-grandchildren, Taylen and Cash Newton; and nieces, Gail Bush and Becky Bruton.
