Daniel Jamin Godfrey, 37, of Collinsville, Okla., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 29, 2019, after a motorcycle accident near Rawlins, Wyo.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel. Private family burial will follow. Pastor Tim Smith will officiate.

Daniel was born June 22, 1982, to Wayne Godfrey and Cindy Burch King in Arkansas City. He was a 2001 graduate of Haysville High School. Daniel enlisted in the United States Army in May 2001. While a member of the Army’s First Cavalry Division and later the 23rd Infantry Division, Sgt. Godfrey was deployed numerous times to Iraq and Afghanistan. Sgt. Godfrey separated from the Army on Oct. 24, 2014, with an honorable discharge and numerous awards.
He enjoyed motorcycle riding, studying and reading the Bible, spending time with family and friends, and being a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Natasha, and two daughters, Trinity and Kylie, all of the home; his parents, Wayne Godfrey and wife, Linda, of Newkirk, Okla., and Cindy Burch King and husband, Larry K. King, of Bartlesville, Okla.; his brothers, Matthew Godfrey and wife, Alicen, of Collinsville, Okla., Jason Godfrey and wife, Andrea, of Dewey, Okla., and Tom Godfrey and wife, Sharon, of Arkansas City; along with many other nephews and nieces and friends.
