Edith Mae Ming, 79, of Marshall, Mo., formerly of Arkansas City, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at her home.

Born Nov. 13, 1940, in Sedan, she was the daughter of the late George William Day and Betty Florine Davis Day. On Dec. 14, 1958, she married Harry E. Ming Sr., who preceded her in death on April 8, 1999. Edith lived in Marshall the last several years, moving from Arkansas City. She worked for many years at TG&Y in Arkansas City, and after moving to Marshall as a foster grandparent at St. Peter Catholic School.
In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by one son, Harry E. Ming Jr.; a son-in-law, Terry Bruner; and a brother, Roland Day.
Survivors include three children, Florine Bruner of Winfield, David Ming (Yullinda) of Newkirk, Okla. and Barbara Foster (Terry) of Arkansas City; a daughter-in-law, Dee Ming of Marshall; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
