Betty Logsdon, 93, of Newkirk, Okla. died Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at Via Christi Village in Ponca City, Okla.
Cremation has been effected under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Washunga Cemetery, in Newkirk, Okla.
Daughter of Lawrence and Louise James, Betty was born March 15, 1926, in Sandborn, Ind. She graduated from Haskell Indian School in Lawrence.
She married Chester Logsdon on April 1, 1946, in Winfield. They lived first in Kaw City, Okla., and later in Newkirk, Okla. Mr. Logdson died Feb. 5, 1994.
Betty was employed as Deputy Clerk for Kay County (Okla.) and later as the Director of the Kaw Housing Authority.
Survivors include son, Jimmie Logsdon, of Newkirk, Okla.; three granddaughters; seven great-grandchhildren; and four great-great-grandchhildren.
