Michael Curtis Rowe, 19-month-old son of Michael D. Rowe and Jessica J. Swanson, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at South Central Kansas Medical Center.
Visitation is from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory. Cremation will take place following the visitation. A celebration of life is at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21 at the Chestnut Avenue Venue, 3120 E. Chestnut Ave., in Parkerfield. Pastor Erin Marque will officiate.

Michael was born Oct. 11, 2018, at his home in Arkansas City. From the moment he was born, Michael always had a contagious smile on his face. He was always talking and loved playing with his brother and sisters. Michael enjoyed throwing balls, playing with his dogs, riding 4-wheelers and eating ice cream, and was always running everywhere he went. Michael will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Michael was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmothers, Virginia Swanson and Jewel Boydston; great-grandfather, Chester D. Rowe; and great-grandmother, Wanda Jones.
Survivors include his parents, Michael Rowe and Jessica Swanson, of the home; his siblings, Jeslyn, Xyleigh, Avia, Malachi, Makiyah, Maleaha, and Mikaelah; maternal grandparents, Edie and Kenny Marsh, and Mark and Paco Swanson, and great-grandfather Arthur Swanson, all of Arkansas City; paternal grandparents, Tracey Jones, of Wichita, and Dean and Niki Rowe, of Arkansas City; great-grandmother, Arvenia Hughes, of Winfield; aunts and uncles, Megan Lambert and husband, Brandon, of Wellington, Raven Nuss and husband, Neal, of Arkansas City, Markie Swanson, and Garrett Swanson of Arkansas City, Heather Onkeo and husband, Edwin, of Wichita, Kitra Rowe, of Battle Creek, Mich., and Treavante Berry, of Tonkawa, Okla.; maternal great-grandfather, Frank Marsh, of Oxford; and paternal great-grandparents, Danny and Sylvia Jones, of Enid, Okla.
