Recently we took the tour given by Sandy Randel (Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum director). The tour is an excellent way to learn about the natives who lived in the area from Arkansas City to Winfield hundreds of years ago.

Etzanoa was a very large village of thatched grass houses. Randel is a great tour guide with a fantastic depth of knowledge. It is a fascinating mystery and will no doubt take decades to investigate especially figuring out what happened to these Wichita Indians.

We highly recommend Sandy as museum director and tour guide.
