I would like to assure voters that the Democratic Party is not interested in staging a Coup of the President. We believe in our Constitution and actually follow it as written. We believe in the rule of law, and seek to achieve a system that is applied equally to everyone regardless of income.
We fully accept that a Presidential candidate can lose the popular vote by 3.5 million and still be chosen by the electors in the Electoral College, created to protect State and minority rights, and who may vote for any candidate that they choose.
What we object to is the abuse of power, the constant flow if misinformation, and the fact that every foreign policy decision he makes seem to benefit Russia over U.S. interests. During the campaign Trumps own son declared in an interview that his father’s multiple bankruptcies did not present a problem for his business financing because they got all the money they need from Russia.
Leadership is about bringing diverse voices to the table to find solutions to complex adaptive problems that confront us. Responding to criticism with name calling, insults and temper tantrums is a sign of insecurity and weakness, not leadership. Our credibility in the word has been severely damaged.
Trump ordered our troops to surrender to Iran and Russia and left our allies to be slaughtered as we ran away. I can only imagine the toll that this order will take on the conscience of our forces as they come home worried about those they fought alongside of, and the Turkish genocide they left behind.
The current hearings in Congress will allow us to once again demonstrate to the world that we are serious about the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power. We have a right to know what is going on under that red Chinese MAGA hat of his.
