Blaming each other does not help. Waiting for God to fix things is a cop out. People make these problems and people must deal with them.

Research tells us that humans display two behaviors that prevent us from seeking solutions. First, people believe what they want to believe. Second, people resist changing their minds even when facts prove them wrong.

This dialogue in the Public Forum can be a good beginning. Rather than blaming and avoiding, we might want to seek to understand one another and the problems we face. We first should determine what we want, what we care most about.
