Southwestern College sophomore outfielder Cassidy Schubert earned a Gold Glove award in voting by Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference All-League softball.

Four members of the Lady Builders were recognized, with two players earning second-team All-Conference honors.

Lyons batted .294, with 12 runs, 32 hits, seven doubles, three triples, one home run and 20 RBI.

Lyons compiled a 4-9 record in the circle, pitching in 17 games, with 11 starts and five complete games. She registered a 4.68 ERA, with a team-high 44 strikeouts in 92 2/3 innings.

Junior Hannah Foltz earned honorable mention.

Foltz compiled a 5-11 record with a 5.31 ERA in the circle. She led the staff in games pitched (24), starts (16) and complete games (6), and was second on the squad with 38 strikeouts.

Schubert started 35 of 36 games in right field, recording 43 putouts and two assists, without committing an error.

Senior Sarah McAninch received the KCAC Champion of Character award.

The medallion Award recognizes continuing student-athletes who have participated in intercollegiate athletics for a minimum of one full academic year. Recipients demonstrate the Champion of Character core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
