Area teams boast four of six of the all-SCBL first team

Udall High School senior Brayden Sadler was one of four area players named to the all-league first team in voting by South Central Border League coaches.

Area teams collected four of the six first-team spots on the South Central Border League boys basketball All-League team, as voted by league coaches.

The SCBL tournament and regular-season champion Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans placed three players on the all-league team. 

League runner-up Udall and South Haven both saw two players honored, while Oxford Central of Burden each placed one player on the team.

Udall senior Brayden Sadler, Cedar Vale/Dexter senior Devin Catlin, Oxford senior Andrew Hills and South Haven junior Cooper Wolf anchored the first team. All led their team in scoring, with Wolf recording the 1,000th point of his high school career during the season.

Cedar Vale/Dexter senior Clayton Henderson and junior Cole Criss both earned second-team nods. Udall sophomore Austin King also was honored on the second team.

South Haven senior Taylor Mclain and Central of Burden senior Lane Toon earned honorable mention.

Other members of the first team included West Elk junior Devin Loudermilk and Sedan sophomore Dameion Hatten.
