HOBBS, N.M. — Thais Lindemayer-Gomes, the defending national champion in the pole vault, finished her two-year career at Cowley College by placing fourth in the event at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Lindemayer-Gomes, who was a two-time national champion, earned All-American honors for her performance.

The Lady Tigers’ 4x800-meter relay team of Sasha Elizondo, Raye Moran, Ieshia Dickerson and Anna Keller, who were national runners-up and earned All-American honors for the efforts.

Cowley sophomore Harlie Schmeling Hanson also garnered All-American honors by placing seventh in the 10,000.
