Cowley College sophomores Angelo Yasuro Ito Tost and Bruno Hidaka Suiama, who advanced to the National championship match at the NJCAA Division I National Championships, were named Inter-collegiate Tennis Association National Junior College Athletic Association All-Americans.

The criteria for All-American recognition are finishing in the top 10 of the final Oracle/ITA national rankings for singles and top five doubles teams for each association.

“Angelo and Bruno had an unbelievable week playing against the best teams in the nation and showing that anything can happen in the national tournament,” Cowley coach Manuel Raga said. “They came into the season with the goal of getting better and they did that. It has been a pleasure working with those guys and watching them improve.”

The duo helped the Tigers to finish in a tie for fourth place at the National tournament.
