Spots are still open for the Southwestern College summer basketball camps June 11-14, hosted by SC men’s basketball head coach Matt O’Brien.

Boys and girls entering grades 1-5 have camp from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Boys and girls entering grades 6-8 have camp from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

An Elite Boys Camp is slated for 1:30 to 3 p.m. This camp is for athletes who would like to be challenged.

The cost is $75 at the door.

The day camps are designed for basketball players of all abilities. The program is intended to develop each athlete’s ability through drills and competition. The camps will consist of a combination of games and instruction.

O’Brien will focus on developing a player’s entire game to include skill development for every position. Instruction is focused on increasing the understanding of how to play the game so players can maximize their ability.

The balance of the camp staff will be comprised of Southwestern coaches and current Southwestern players.
