Arkansas City High School senior Kayden Steiner fired an 81 to earn the fourth-place medal Thursday at the Winfield Invitational at Winfield Country Club.
Steiner paired near-even rounds of 41 and 40.
Ark City seniors Jackson Rohr and Dylan Cook tied for seventh, each collecting a medal with rounds of 85.
Rohr opened with a 44, but was three strokes better on the back nine. Cook was near even, pairing a 42 with a 43.

TOWANDA — The Arkansas City High School girls track and field team collected another team championship Thursday, winning the 12-team Circle Invitational.
Ark City collected gold medals in four individual events and one relay.
Junior Hailey Brown took home two gold medals, winning the discus with a throw of 122 feet even and taking the javelin by hurling the spear 130-10.
The boys 4x400 relay team wrapped up the meet with a victory, finishing in 3 minutes, 30.03 seconds.
Junior Justin Phillips won the boys pole vault, leaping 12 feet even.
Junior Jacob Beeson set a personal-best time while winning the 400-meter run in 50.68 seconds.
CHERRYVALE — The Central of Burden High School track and field team competed Thursday at the Cherryvale Invitational.
Sophomore Clayton Cook was the lone gold medalist for the Raiders.
Cook won the discus with a throw of 136 feet, 5 inches.
Cook also finished third in the shot put (41-10) and sixth in the javelin (121-3).
Several Central athletes earned silver medals.
Junior Caitlin Mannon finished second in the girls shot put, throwing the orb 34-7 3/4. Mannon also placed fourth in the discus (86-5) and ran the 100-meter dash, placing sixth in 14.86 seconds.
Freshman Chance Cook was runner-up in the boys pole vault, hitting 11 feet even.
Freshman Madeline Hervey placed second in the girls pole vault, reaching 5-6. Hervey finished fifth in the 800 (3:28.76).
