The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans, who went 7-2 and captured the first 8-man District title since the two schools combined, were honored with 10 spots on the South Central Birder League all-league football team, including nine first-team nods.

The Spartans had a league-high five players named to the first-team offense.

Senior Devin Catlin was a three-way all-leaguer, earning first-team honors on the offense at wide receiver and at punter on special teams, while receiving honorable mention at defensive back.

Seniors Arik Artherton and Colton Potter also earned two-way first-team honors.

Artherton was named to the first team on the offensive line and at linebacker.

Potter was a first-teamer on both the offensive and lines.

Artherton, Catlin and Potter were joined on the first team offense by senior quarterback Clayton Henderson and junior running back Brogan Myers.

Catlin was joined on first-team special teams by junior long snapper Si Killman.

The Udall Eagles saw four players earn all-league honors, three on the first team.

Senior Isaac Patteson was named to the first-team defense at linebacker. He was joined by junior defensive lineman Dylan Bishop.

Udall senior Trevor Whiteman was named to the first team at kicker.

Senior running back Alan Garton earned honorable mention for the Eagles.

The Oxford Wildcats placed four players on the all-league team.

Senior offensive lineman Hunter Norland was named to the first team.

Senior defensive end Ty Carter and senior defensive lineman Colton Jordan received honorable mention on defense, while senior Andrew Hills earned honorable mention on special teams for the Wildcats.

Central of Burden and South Haven both saw three players earn honorable mention.

Senior Lane Toon was a two-way all-leaguer for the Raiders, earning honorable mention at tight end and linebacker. Junior running back Zarek Wilson earned mention at tight end.

South Haven junior quarterback Cooper Wolf earned mention, joining senior defensive end Slade Wiley and junior defensive back Cooper Wolf.
